Friends of Cyril Schultz will take aim at strikes and spares tonight at the Strike Zone bowling alley.
Six teams of three people each are competing in a tournament to honour and remember Schultz as well as give back to the Salvation Army's food bank.
"Cyrl bowled in a lot of leagues, he was a popular bowler before he died," said tournament organizer Ryan Paziuk. "He was a popular guy."
Proceeds from the entry fees and the food collected by the players are going directly to the Salvation Army.
The tournament, which begins at 6 p.m., is a round-robin format and the top-three teams, based on wins and losses, will advance to a step-ladder playoff.
Even if you aren't bowling, Paziuk said food donations are more than welcome and can be dropped off today to add to those items already collected.
It's the third year that Paziuk has organized the tournament in memory of Schultz.
