The Prince George Minor Lacrosse Association will have a professional presence at its registration table at the Pine Centre Mall Rec Mart this weekend.
Vancouver Stealth players Jeff Moleski and Kyle Sorensen will be at the sign-up and so will Stealth president and general manager Doug Locker. Registration goes from noon to
4 p.m. on Sunday. The Stealth is one of nine teams in the National Lacrosse League.
Moleski is a Prince George product who is in his 10th NLL season. He plays defence for the Stealth, which relocated to Langley from Everett, Wash., in the off-season.
Sorensen is also a defender and serves as team captain. He's currently out of action because of a knee injury.
The Stealth currently sits last in the NLL's West Division with a record of 3-7. The team is looking to increase interest in the NLL outside of the Lower Mainland, while the PGMLA is intent on boosting interest in the game locally.
