Spruce Kings tame Wenatchee Wild in overtime win

The Prince George Spruce Kings had plenty to smile about after an overtime win Friday night in Wenatchee.

The Prince George Spruce Kings came from behind to defeat the Wenatchee Wild 5-4 in overtime Friday in Wenatchee, Wash.

Ben LeFranc scored the game-winning goal 22 seconds into overtime, giving Prince George their 16th win. With the win, they improve their record to 16-11-1-1 and sit 4th in the Interior Division.

Amran Bhabra, Jake Schneider, Ty Gagno and Kilian McGregor-Bennett also scored for the Kings, whose only lead of the game was the overtime winner and were behind 2-0 after the first period.
