The Prince George Spruce Kings have acquired defencemen Tanner Main from the Wenatchee Wild in exchange for future considerations.

Main finished the 2019-20 campaign with two goals and 17 assists in 54 games. The 5'10, 160 pound 20 year old is also committed to playing NCAA Division 1 Hockey at Bentley University in 2021-22.

"Tanner is a veteran defenceman who is very skilled, moves the puck well and will be able to run our power-play," said GM Mike Hawes. "He is a great addition to our team, and we are excited that we were able to complete a deal to acquire him."

Before joining the Wild, the Welland, Ont. product spent two seasons with the St. Catherines Falcons of the Greater Ontario Junior Hockey League where Main finished with eight goals, 32 assists in 76 games played in those two seasons.
