Tim Galeos remained perfect in his boxing comeback last weekend at the Combsport Western Championship in Vancouver.
The 31-year-old member of the Spruce Capital Boxing Club won his bout at the western event and qualified for the Combsport Canadian Championship, also in Vancouver, in July. Galeos returned to the ring March 2 during the Prince George Explosion fight card, where he won a unanimous decision in his first fight since 2006.
Galeos' teammate at Spruce Capital, Marcus Hume, also won his fight at the western championship to qualify for the national event.
Both Galeos and Hume will be among a contingent of six Spruce Capital boxers coach Wayne Sponagle will take to Revelstoke for a fight card this weekend. Other boxers making the trip include Hank Lukan, George Davies, Tyson Taylor and Joel Campbell.
