Ball hockey
The Prince George Open Ball Hockey playoff series between the Bruisers and Team Shaw is all square at 1-1.
On Sunday, the Bruisers won Game 1 of the best-of-five series 4-3 in overtime, while Team Shaw came out flying in Game 2 for a 6-2 victory.
The next set of games is set for Sunday, April 5 at 7 p.m. at the Roll-a-Dome.
Polars net title
The PGSS Polars second team topped the second squad of the D.P. Todd Trojans 46-36 to win the Grade 8 boys basketball tournament at College Heights on Saturday.
D.P. Todd's first squad finished third, followed by PGSS-1 in fourth place.
Duchess Park's second team was fifth, Kelly Road placed sixth and College Heights was seventh. Duchess Park's first team was eighth to round out the eight-team tournament.
