Thomas Speirs will finally have his pro boxing debut next month.
The Spruce Capital Boxing Club product will fight 30-something Gary Copas at the Shaw Conference Centre in Edmonton on Friday, Sept. 13. Speirs was originally going to have his first professional fight in March on a card in Prince George, but the plan fell through.
The event in Edmonton is called Killer Instinct put on by K.O. Boxing Canada.
