The Prince George Minor Girls Softball Association hosts its annual tournament this weekend.
The tourney, at Freeman Park, features 12 squirt and peewee teams from Prince George, Quesnel and 100 Mile House stepping up to the plate.
The peewee draw sees four Prince George squads (PG Victoria Physio, PG Siding Specialists, PG Printwerx, PG DMC Chartered Accountants) battle 100 Mile House and Quesnel in a round-robin format beginning at 8 a.m. today.
Four Prince George sides (PG Bench Rentals, PG Lo Elliott Orthodontics, PG Alison's Embroidery/Michael's Jewelry, PG Mighty Mites) will compete against Quesnel Electric Teal and Quesnel Mighty Blue in round-robin play that gets underway at 9:45 a.m.
Playoffs begin Sunday at 8 a.m. and 9:45 a.m. with the squirt and peewee quarter-finals.
The squirt and peewee gold medal games are set for Sunday at 3 p.m.
