The senior girls soccer side is up against five other squads in the North Central double-A zone championship that kicked off Sunday at Rotary Field and wraps up today.

Besides the Condors, who've won two consecutive zone championships, the tournament includes the College Heights Cougars, runners-up to Duchess Park in 2014, the D.P. Todd Trojans, the Kelly Road Roadrunners, Vanderhoof's Nechako Valley senior secondary, and Peter Skeene Ogden from 100 Mile House.

Duchess Park was ranked first in Pool A, while College Heights was the top seed in Pool B.

The semifinals are today at 10 a.m. between the top-four squads, while the winners of those matches meet in the gold medal game at 3 p.m. The losers will play for bronze, also at 3 p.m.
