It's the North Cariboo Senior Soccer League's annual ice-breaker tournament that begins today on the league's three pitches.
"For this weekend, the whole idea is for everyone to get out and get rid of the strains and sprains," said Bruce Deck, who plays for the Caledonians.
"It's a good way for them to run off the winter."
This weekend, 14 teams in all four divisions - open, 30-plus, 45-plus and recreational - will compete against each other.
The tournament kicks off today at 10 a.m. when Molson takes on Westwood Pub on Cariboo Field 1; Subway tackles the Kickers on Field 2 and the Gunners battle the Caledonians on Field 3.
The last match of the day features PGYSA going up against Rolling Mix at 2:30 p.m. on Field 1.
On Sunday, PGYSA battles the Grewal Group at 10 a.m. on Field 2.
The 2:30 p.m. match between Westwood Pub and Fountain Tire on Field 2 wraps up the tournament.
League play gets underway on May 19.
