Declan MacEachern of the Farr Fabricating Cougars readies a backhander against Maple Leaf Athletic Club goalie Kanmar Gill in the first period of a Friday game at the Doubletake Signs Bantam Tier 1 Hockey Tournament at Kin 2.
The Cougars beat their opponents from Edmonton 7-3. Brandon Dent had a pair of goals for the Cougars, while Declan MacEachern, Elijah Goyer, Corey Cunningham, James White and Cody Bailey collected singles. The Cougars went on to meet North Vancouver in the late game.
Tournament action resumes today and Sunday at 8 a.m. at the Kin Centre.
The final is set for Sunday at noon at Kin 2.
