SLIP, SLIPPING AWAY --Zac Rasmussen of the Prince George Spruce Kings, right, tries to get control of a puck knocked away by Anthony DeLong of the Williams Lake Timberwolves during BCHL action Wednesday night at the Coliseum. The Spruce Kings, who are in tough to make the Interior Conference playoffs, recorded a 6-2 victory over the Timberwolves, a team that will not make the playoffs. Sam Muchalla, named the game's first star, had a goal and two assists, while RJay Berra had four points, including a goal. Zac Rasmussen had two goals, with other markers from Lydon Martell and Joe Morgan. Jordan Hirano and Trent Murdoch replied for the Timberwolves. The Spruce Kings are home to the Nanaimo Clippers on Friday, then play host to the Victoria Grizzlies, coached by local product Vic Gervais, on Saturday night, both 7 p.m. starts at the Coliseum.
