Prince George archers hit the bulls-eye for 11 medals at the 2012 B.C. Provincial Outdoor championship on the weekend.
There were 48 competitors involved in the competition that was hosted Saturday and Sunday by the Silvertip Archers Club in P.G., coming from as far away as Smithers, Quesnel, Whitehorse and the Lower Mainland.
Ron Marwood of the Silvertip Club said the competition was fierce even though some categories only had one marksman.
"It was a great couple days," said Marwood.
Of the 11 medals Prince George competitors won, seven were gold and four silver.
In the cadet class Jennifer Stern earned 1,318 points for gold. In the cub division, Daniel Herhefferan had 1,023 points for silver.
David Stern, a junior, collected 1,349 points for gold, and in the masters 50, Maureen Graham had 912 points for silver. Flo Stern, master 60, also took silver with 1,177 points.
In the master 70 class, Ted Stern (1,259) and Keith Patterson (1,189) finished in the gold and silver positions respectively.
Other gold medals were won by, Ron Marwood, master 70, with 939 points, Shelby Borschawa, peewee, 456 points, Hunter Haughay, peewee, 702 points and Dustin Borschawa, pre-cub, 668 points.
Don Reeves and Merl Sinoski of Prince George also took part in the event.
The FITA 1200 portion of the competition took place Saturday with the field course competition Sunday.
