Sibiya leaving Prince George youth soccer

The only coach employed by the Prince George Youth Soccer Association is leaving the city, for an undisclosed posting in Vancouver, The Citizen has learned.

The only coach employed by the Prince George Youth Soccer Association is leaving the city, for an undisclosed posting in Vancouver, The Citizen has learned.

The popular South Africa native Sipho Sibiya, a former pro soccer player and coach who joined PGYSA in the fall of 2006, has tendered his resignation to the board. Recently, Sibiya was the manager and a player for the Prince George Fury indoor soccer league team, but was fired by owner John Mehrassa with four games remaining in the season.
