Three weeks ago the Burns Lake Bruins stung the Cougars 4-3 to knock the visitors out of the Burns Lake bantam tier 3 hockey tournament.

On Friday, the Cougars arrived at the rink at Kin 1 with memories of that tough loss intact, and took it out on the Bruins in their opening game at the Sands Bulk Invitational tournament.

Mathieu Longhurst and Gage Wasylyshen each scored two goals and Tyson Peters was perfect in goal for the Cougars, making 17 saves in an 8-0 whitewash.
