Both Prince George teams involved in this weekend's B.C. Ringette Association provincial A and B championships will have to be early-risers.
They'll be on the ice today before the clock hits eight bells to begin their tournaments.
The Prince George Hart Modular Homes/All Rhodes Construction Heat faces off against Quesnel in a Under-14 B division game today at 7:30 a.m. at Kin 1. The Heat also plays at 1:45 p.m. against Shuswap. Kelowna and Vernon are the other teams playing in the U-14 B division.
Also today at 7:30 a.m., the Prince George Andrew Kemp Lawyer & Mediator/Realtors of PG Under-16 B Heat will play Terrace at the Coliseum. Then at 4:45 p.m. at Kin 3 the Heat takes on Shuswap. Just three teams are involved in the U-16 B tournament.
Games in the U-14 A, U-16 A, and U-14 A, divisions also start today. There are five teams in each of those divisions.
Championship finals will all be played on Sunday at the following times and locations: U14 A -- 1 p.m., Kin 3; U-14 B, 12:45 p.m., Kin 2; U-16 A -- 12:45 p.m., Coliseum; U-16 B -- 4:15 p.m., Coliseum; U-19 A -- 2:30 p.m., Coliseum.
