Four games are in the books at the 2012 Senior Men's Bid Group Provincial Baseball Championship at Citizen Field in Prince George this weekend.

The host Prince George Grays (0-1) are in action today at Citizen Field against the Burnaby Bulldogs (0-1) as both squads search for their first wins. It's $5 to get into the ballpark.

Game 4:

Victoria Mavericks 3 Burnaby Bulldogs 0

The defending champion Victoria Mavericks are off to a good start behind Graham Campbell's three-hit shutout over the Burnaby Bulldogs in Saturday morning action. The Mavericks scored twice in the first inning to give Campbell a 2-0 cushion. Sean Murphy hit a solo homerun in the seventh inning. The Mavericks (1-0) play the Kamloops Sun Devils (1-0) at 3:30 p.m. today.

Game 3:

Trail Orioles 4 Nanaimo Coalminers 2

In the first game Saturday the Trail Orioles doubled up the Nanaimo Coalminers 4-2 behind a strong performance from hurler Kellen Jones. The O's pitcher scattered seven hits over seven innings while helping his own cause at the plate where he went 2-for-3. Trail took an early 2-0 lead but needed runs in the fifth and sixth innings to secure the win.

Game 2:

Langley Blaze 8 Kelowna Jays 7

In Friday's second game, the Langley Blaze's Jon Mihic blasted a fly ball deep into the outfield in an extra inning allowing Craig Merritt to score from third on the sacrifice for an 8-7 win over the Kelowna Jays. The Blaze (1-0) are next in action tonight, 8:30 p.m. against the Trail Orioles (1-0).

Game 1:

Kamloops Sun Devils 10 Prince George Grays 5

The Kamloops Sun Devils put up five runs in the bottom half of the first inning, cruising to a 10-5 victory over the Prince George Grays on Friday. The host team chipped away at the deficit to close within one at 5-4 in the fourth inning but the Sun Devils responded with a pair of runs in the bottom half of the inning to sink the Grays. Another three runs in the sixth inning for the Sun Devils secured the win.
