The Hart Pioneer Centre will be a magnet for the province's top carpet bowlers next week when Prince George hosts the B.C. championships.
Close to 50 bowlers are expected for the event, which starts Monday morning.
The list of local bowlers competing for B.C. titles includes Wilma Couiyk, Barbara Carson, Audrey Ebert, Marilynn Guetjen, John Hiebert, Elmer Braun, Ann Hiebert, Maureen Braun, Judy Johnson, Bettie Doherty, Dan Clay, Alzora Hick, Roman Hildebrandt, John Sunley, Bob Napier, John Pauich, Janet Dahlberg, Linda Parkinson, Luci Goodfellow, Andy Horwath, Linda Horwath, John Harvey and Leslie Harvey.
Games are scheduled Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. The competition wraps up Thursday at noon.
