The day after the Prince George Spruce Kings defeated the Wenatchee Wild 6-5 in overtime, the Wild defeated the Kings in overtime by the same 6-5 score on New Year’s Eve in Wenatchee, Wash.
Austin Fraser scored twice for the Kings, while Charlie Banquier, Jake Schneider and Scott Cousins also found the back of the net.
The Kings host the league-leading Penticton Vees Friday and Saturday at Kopar Memorial Arena in Prince George.
