The Predators are one win away from ending a dynasty in Prince George Masters Ball Hockey.
Tuesday night at the Roll-A-Dome, the Predators won the first two games of the best-of-five playoff championship series against Cap-abilities. The second-seeded Preds dumped top-seeded Cap-abilities 11-6 and 12-4.
Cap-abilities is the five-time defending champion.
Caps barely survived a semifinal series this year against fourth-ranked Alison's Embroidery/Players Bench. That series went the maximum five games, with Cap-abilities winning 5-3 in the last one.
In the first two games of the final, Evan Potskin of the Predators struck for a total of nine goals and five assists.
Game 3 is next Tuesday, 7 p.m., at the Roll-A-Dome.
