The Prince George Polars fell to 0-2 Thursday at the quad-A boys provincial basketball championship in Langley.
The Polars lost 97-54 to Walnut Grove. That came less than a day after the 14th-ranked Polars suffered a109-68 loss to No. 3-ranked Kelowna. In that game, Tyrell Laing led PGSS with 37 points. Details of the Walnut Grove game were unavailable.
The Polars will play Queen Charlotte today at 3:30 p.m. in a consolation round matchup.
Meanwhile, at the double-A boys championships, also in Langley, the Nechako Valley Vikings of Vanderhoof dropped an 81-54 decision to Lambrick Park. The Vikings (0-2) will take on Kwalikum in a consolation round game today at 10:15 a.m.
