Plane, not bus -- Bruins wing way to P.G.

The last time the Fraser Valley Bruins tried to travel to Prince George, they didn't make it. On winter highways, their bus crashed just south of Williams Lake. This time, the Bruins are flying.

The last time the Fraser Valley Bruins tried to travel to Prince George, they didn't make it. On winter highways, their bus crashed just south of Williams Lake.

This time, the Bruins are flying. They are scheduled to be on a plane this morning and should be here in plenty of time to prepare for an evening game against the Cariboo Cougars.

The teams, which compete in the B.C. Hockey Major Midget League, were supposed to play a doubleheader Dec. 12-13 in P.G. but those games were postponed because of the accident. Today, the Cats and Bruins will finally get down to business, starting at 5:45 p.m. in Kin 1. They'll also meet on Wednesday, an 11 a.m. start in the same rink.
