With first-place results in five categories, Prince George horseshoe pitchers squeezed the most enjoyment possible out of the Summer Fun tournament in Quesnel.
During the weekend gathering, Eskro Karlson (men's D), Benita Karlson (women's D), Maureen Braun (senior women), Elmer Braun (mixed seniors 30-foot) and Ameryllis Braun (junior) all threw to titles in their divisions. Eskro Karlson also finished second in the men's C event and Maureen Braun was on target for second spot in the mixed A class.
Quesnel's Helen Boudreau also had a great weekend. She topped the women's B category and was second in the senior women's and mixed senior divisions. Meanwhile, Lorenzo Ferrier of the host community won the men's C class.
