A dozen fastball teams hit the diamonds in Prince George over the weekend for the Kyle Garnot Memorial Fastpitch Tournament.
The double elimination tournament was played at Spruce City Stadium and Ron Willey Field.
The tournament is named for Garnot, a popular player who died in August.
"Kyle's passion for the game and his unwavering spirit both on and off the field left an indelible mark on everyone who knew him. This tournament is more than just a series of games; it's a celebration of the life he lived and the legacy he left behind," reads the invitation to the event, posted online.
"We invite all of you — friends, family, and fans — to come out and share in the camaraderie, competition, and love that Kyle brought to every moment."
