Picking just one Soccer Boy and one Soccer Girl proved too difficult. So the Prince George Youth Soccer Association selected multiple winners of the awards during a season-ending banquet on Monday night.
At the banquet, held at Esther's Inn, the Soccer Boy award was shared by Liam Stewart and Luke Holmes. The Soccer Girl honours went to Fiona Raymond and Tianna Pius.
Several other awards were also handed out. Winners were: Karen Wilkinson, manager of the year; Mario Mastroianni, volunteer of the year; Gaetano Mauro, Steve Lamble Memorial Award of Merit; Owen Stewart, junior referee of the year; Becky Adams, senior referee of the year; and Dustie Hall, President's Award. As well, Ron Polillo and Daryle Skelton were recognized for their volunteer work during the 2013 provincial boys championships, which were held in Prince George.
