Stephen Hood is the new technical director for the Prince George Youth Soccer Association.
The Vancouver native will begin his new job July 1 when he moves his wife Linda and twin daughters to Prince George. Hood is currently the director of North Shore Soccer Development and a staff coach. He holds a CSA national B certificate and is a BCSA qualified instructor.
Hood has coached internationally at the Cardiff City FC Academy in Wales and has assisted with the Vancouver Whitecaps under-11 prospects program.
The PGYSA has more than 2,500 boys and girls between three and 18 registered for outdoor soccer programs and 700 registrations for the indoor program during the fall and winter months.
