The Prince George Gymnastics Club sent seven athletes to the Kitimat Spring Fling Invitational on the weekend and returned home with medals.
In the Provincial 1(P1) Tyro division, Hannah Gould won silver in the all-round competition and was first on beam, second on uneven bars and floor and fourth on vault, while Kayla Hanson took bronze in the all-around and was first on bars, second on vault, third on beam and fourth on floor.
Three Prince George gymnasts competed in the P1 Open division with Izabella Stokes, Monica Bronowski and Kalena McCarville finishing one-two-three, respectively, in the all around. Stokes won gold on vault, bars and floor and was second on beam, while Bronowski was second on vault and bars and third on beam and floor. McCarville was first on beam, second on floor and third on vault and beam.
Kimberly Marsh, in the P2 Open division, swept the gold medals for vault, bars, beam, floor and the all around.
The other Prince George gymnast to participate was inter club athlete Sydney Casey.
