P.G. group rolling at provincials

A Prince George contingent is in Chilliwack this weekend competing in the B.C. 5 Pin Bowlers' Association Provincial Open Championships. Zone 8 (B.C. North) is represented by a men's, ladies and mixed team.

A Prince George contingent is in Chilliwack this weekend competing in the B.C. 5 Pin Bowlers' Association Provincial Open Championships.

Zone 8 (B.C. North) is represented by a men's, ladies and mixed team.

The men's team is comprised of Brent Morrison (Quesnel), Iain MacRitchie (Prince George), Kyle Parker (Prince George), Chito Tecson (Prince George), Kevin McAlpine (Williams Lake) and Jeff Hickey (Prince George). They're coached by Kim Chadwick.

MacRitchie, Parker and Tecson are competing in men's singles.

The ladies team features Morgan Burdock (Fort St. John), Coralee Szilagyi (Fort St. John), Stacey Taylor (Quesnel), Candice Hansen (Prince George) Leona Sampson (Prince George) and Salina Kennedy (Prince George). They're coached by Ed Stepski.

Burdock, Szilagyi and Taylor are competing in ladies' singles.

The mixed team is comprised of locals Jason Kennedy, Jim Montgomery, Peter Inyallie, Mary Anne Schram and Lee Sheppard. They're coached by Jo Borgford (Terrace).
