EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. - Adrian Peterson isn't about to let up after his awe-inspiring season for the Minnesota Vikings.

After rushing for 2,097 yards and nearly breaking the NFL record just one year after reconstructive surgery on his left knee, Peterson is planning on a similarly intense off-season regimen. Peterson said Monday as the Vikings cleared out their lockers that he wants to get as many teammates as he can to join him for his workouts.

The Vikings lost in Green Bay to the Packers in the NFC playoffs on Saturday to finish 10-7, a seven-win improvement from last year.

Peterson said he'll take some time to rest his body, but not much. He said his rehabilitation program showed him the benefit of starting preseason training early.
