The Tri-City Predators were fortunate they didn't become the prey.

The Predators, formed by players from Coquitlam, Port Coquitlam and Port Moody, faced the Ken Laursen Royal LePage Cougars of Prince George in Sunday's final of a peewee girls hockey tournament in Surrey. The Predators were outplayed by the Cats but, thanks to a sizzling performance by their goaltender, won 3-0.
