Curling fans are invited to stop by the Prince George Golf and Curling Club today to meet an Olympic and world curling champion team.

Kevin Martin, and his fellow 2010 Winter Olympic gold medalists, John Morris, Marc Kennedy and Ben Hebert, will be on the pebble from 4 to 6 p.m.

The open house will allow curlers and fans of Team Martin the opportunity to get autographs and curling tips from the 12-time Alberta provincial champion curler and fifth with his current team.

Martin and company are getting ready to compete in the 2013 Tim Horton's Brier in Edmonton, March 2-10. It's the first time Martin will compete in the Brier in his hometown.

The current Team Martin, together since 2006, posted undefeated records at the 2008 and 2009 Brier championships and added the world title to their names in 2008. Martin has also skipped teams to the 1991 and 1997 Brier titles. The Martin rink has already qualified for the 2013 Canadian Olympic Curling Trial event, Roar of the Rings, Dec. 1-8 at the MTS Centre in Winnipeg, where they'll try to earn the chance to represent Canada at the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi, Russia and defend their gold medal.
