The Shas Ti Kelly Road Grizzlies senior boys basketball team hosted the North Peace Grizzlies from Fort St. John on Friday afternoon at Shas Ti Kelly Road gymnasium, in the first game of a weekend doubleheader between the two teams.
The game started off evenly matched with each team able to match baskets and both teams headed to their dressing rooms at the half tied 29-29. Late in the third quarter North Peace got the momentum going their way and pulled ahead on the scoreboard. Despite pressure from Shas Ti Kelly Road right until the very last seconds of the game, the visitors were able to neutralize the home team's advances and walked away with a 65-56 victory.
