More magic from Brad Morrison got the Lethbridge Hurricanes back in their Western Hockey League playoff series with the Swift Current Broncos.
In Game 3 of the Eastern Conference final, played Tuesday night in Lethbridge, the Hurricanes - powered by a Morrison hat trick - beat the Broncos 5-1. Lethbridge now trails the best-of-seven series 2-1, with Game 4 set for tonight back on the club's home ice at Enmax Centre.
Morrison - a Prince George product in his final year in the WHL - scored in the second period to put the Hurricanes up 2-1 and added two more goals in the third, including an empty-netter. He now has 15 in the playoffs - a Lethbridge franchise record - and is up to 34 points in 13 games. He also assisted on Lethbridge's first goal on Tuesday.
