Jeff Moleski is returning to the National Lacrosse League for the next two seasons.

The 29-year-old from Prince George this week agreed to terms on a two-year contract with the Washington Stealth.

Moleski was traded to the Everett, Wash.,-based Stealth last summer after six seasons with the Calgary Roughnecks. A defensive specialist, he collected 13 points, including three goals, and 74 loose balls last season, while playing in all 16 regular season games. He also played in all three playoff games for the Stealth, scoring a goal and picking up 12 loose balls.

The Stealth won the West Division championship and lost in the Champions Cup final 8-7 to the Toronto Rock.

The six-foot-one, 205-pound Moleski has played in 101 career regular season NLL games, totaling 77 points on 31 goals and 46 assists. In May, he helped Canada win the gold medal at the World Indoor Lacrosse Championships.

"Obviously, we're happy Jeff has committed two years to us," said Stealth head coach Chris Hall, on NLL.com. "It was a big move for us to bring him here last season and he's brought everything we expected to our defense. He's one of the best defenders in this league entering the prime of his career."

Defenseman Matt Beers and transition player Chet Koneczny signed one-year deals with the Stealth, pending approval by the NLL.
