After 13 seasons patrolling the sidelines for the Duchess Park secondary senior girls volleyball squad, Richard Mintenko is heading across the river for the 2012 season.
Mintenko decided to step away from the game he loves to spend more time with his family, leaving the Condors after celebrating eight northern championship titles with the team in 13 years.
But his retirement didn't last long. The Kelly Road Roadrunners lured Mintenko over to their court with the position of assistant coach of the senior girls while still allowing him plenty of time to spend with his family.
