The CFL season starts this week, NFL camps are starting up, and before you know it, the Prince George Minor Football Association will be getting down to scrimmaging again.

Now's the time to sign up.

The PGMFA is hosting a free football kickoff skills camp/tackle season registration day on Saturday, July 20 for kids born between 2000 and 2006. The skills camp will be held at Ecole Lac des Bois elementary school field (4131 Rainbow Dr.), from 9 a.m. - noon.

Each player is require to wear adequate footwear, preferable cleats, and bring a water bottle.

The same school field will be the home of the league's practices sessions Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 6 - 8 p.m., starting on July 23.

Equipment for the tackle football season will be distributed during the first two weeks of August. The season starts Sept. 7. League fees, which include equipment rentals, range from $200 for bantam and junior bantam players, $50 for atom players and free for first-year atoms.

Each player is eligible to have $75 in registration fees refunded in return for a minimum of five hours of participation in the league's volunteer activities.
