In a development that had about as much chance of coming true as Derek Boogaard making it to the NHL -- wait, that actually happened, right? -- the only junior squad that will be battling in meaningful games, with a northern B.C. mailing address, sports a double-blue colour scheme and an oversized 'M' in mid-chest.
Believe it. The Prince George Cougars are playing out a WHL regular season that will -- broken record set to 'play' -- hopefully result in a contending team down the road. That topic alone would take about as much ink as Gord Hoekstra is dedicating to the proposed pipeline project.
