The Prince George product was recalled to the NHL by the Flyers along with eight of his Adirondack Phantoms teammates after the regular season of the American Hockey League came to a close last weekend. Manning had six goals and 19 points in 46 games in his first season on the blueline in the AHL.

Other players who joined the Flyers before Game 4 were: forwards Tyler Brown, Ben Holmstrom, Matt Ford, Tye McGinn, Harry Zolnierczyk and defencemen Erik Gustafsson and Oliver Lauridsen and goaltender Michael Leighton. All nine players viewed the game from the press box.

The Phantoms (37-35-2-2) finished 10th in the Eastern Conference, five points behind the eighth, and final, playoff spot secured by the Manchester Monarchs.
