Six local minor hockey stars have put themselves in contention to skate for Team B.C. at the 2011 Canada Winter Games.
Chase Witala, Raymond Grewal, Josh Connolly, Kirk Hards, Jake LeBrun and Jared Young will all attend a Hockey B.C. provincial camp June 30 to July 4 in Penticton. They will be part of a group of 56 players vying for jobs with Team B.C.
Hockey B.C. made the provincial-camp announcement on Friday.
