Lions (9-5) at Stampeders (11-3)
Today, 6 p.m. TSN
Clarke: Jon Cornish is closing in on Willie Burden's team season rushing record but if he falters, look for Clifton Smith, a former Pro Bowl kick returner, to bust out as impact player in the backfield in his CFL debut. Without Travis Lulay the Lions will lose. Pick: Stamps by 10
James: The Stampeders have three healthy quarterbacks, all of whom are better than who the Lions will have under centre. Pick: Stamps by nine.
Lamb: Another chapter for the Lions' road woes as the Stampeders put their stamp on first place in the west. Pick: Stamps by seven.
Nielsen: A week after being outclassed by Korey Sheets and the Roughriders, the Lions now face Jon Cornish and the Stampeders. That said, I can't bring myself to say the Lions will lose, so let me put it this way, Pick: Lions by minus-10.
Eskimos (3-11) at Roughriders (9-5)
Saturday, 1:30 p.m. TSN
Clarke: Larry Sheets and the addition of Alex Hall on defence makes a world of difference to the 'Riders' fortunes and they're playing a team that 's going absolutely nowhere. Pick: Riders by 13
James: If the Roughriders are to meet the Lions in the playoffs, they don't want it to be at BC Place. Pick: Riders by seven.
Lamb: The Roughriders snapped their losing streak last week and are rewarded with the CFL's second worst team visiting Regina. Pick: Roughriders by 13.
Nielsen: With Sheets back in the lineup, the Roughriders will continue where they left off before he was injured. Pick: Saskatchewan by 14.
Blue Bombers (2-12) at Alouettes (6-8)
Monday, 10 a.m. TSN
Clarke: It's turkey time and the Als are going to feast on the CFL's worst team, made even weaker this week now that they've traded Hall, the CFL sack leader, to Saskatchewan. Pick: Alouettes by 12.
James: The Bombers already beat the Alouettes once in Montreal this year, but they won't be able to repeat the feat. Pick: Alouettes by four.
Lamb: The Bombers won the last time these teams met in Montreal, but don't look for that to happen this time as the Als try to catch Toronto and Hamilton. Pick: Alouettes by 10.
Nielsen: The Alouettes thumped the Eskimos last week and show no signs of slowing down as they try to catch the Tiger-Cats for a home playoff date. Pick: Alouettes by 14.
Argonauts (9-5) at Tiger-Cats (7-7)
Monday, 1:30 p.m. TSN
Clarke: Ricky Ray was taking snaps this week in practice so don't be surprised to see him on the field in Guelph. If he plays, the Ticats are in for trouble. Pick: Argos by six.
James: The Tiger-Cats need to sweep this back-to-back to have a chance at catching the Argonauts, but Toronto is better on the road. Pick: Argos by two.
Lamb: A rematch in Guelph, Ont., and the Argos will be looking for some revenge after the Ticats beat them in Toronto last week. Pick: Ticats by three.
Nielsen: Home-and-homes usually end in a split and the Argonauts were upset last week. But the Tiger-Cats need this game more than the Argos do and Smilin' Hank and the crew will rise to the occasion. Pick: Tiger-Cats by 10.
