For anyone who feels they're up a creek without a paddle when they're on the water, don't fear help has arrived.
Lyle Dickieson, master instructor, is offering instruction for lakewater travel by canoe. The courses will run at Breman Lake and give participants lessons in all the basic strokes and how to handle the canoe in various types of weather like wind and waves. The courses are sanctioned by the B.C. Recreational Canoe Association.
The cost is $250. Lessons run either July 6-7 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. or July 13-14, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
