For 42 years, runners have lined up at the start to race in the Labour Day Classic.
That tradition continues on Sunday at the Civic Centre when the 43rd annual event starts at 9 a.m.
Runners, walkers and wheelchair racers will have their choice of competing in seven categories - 17-mile run, 8.5-mile run, 8.5-mile walk, 8.5-mile wheelchair, three-by-three-mile relay, five kilometre run and one kilometre kids run.
The 17-mile run starts at 9 a.m., followed by the kids race at 9:15 a.m., and the 8.5-mile and five kilometre events at 9:45 a.m.
A banquet will follow starting at 12:30 p.m. at the Civic Centre.
Race packages can be picked up today at the Civic Centre from 4-6 p.m. Late race registrations will be accepted at that time.
