Frank LaBounty and Team B.C. continue to set the pace at the Canadian wheelchair curling championship in Boucherville, Que.

The B.C. provincial champions reeled off two more wins Thursday to improve to 4-1, tied with Quebec atop the 10-team standings. Skipped by Gerry Austgarden of Kelowna, B.C. scored five points in the fifth end in the afternoon draw and went on to defeat Wayne Ficek of Northern Ontario 12-2.

Team B.C., which includes LaBounty of Prince George at second, third Darryl Neighbour of Richmond and lead Allison Duddy of Quesnel, started the day with a 7-4 win over Don Kuchelyma of Alberta.

Early leader Chris Rees of Ontario, who took a 3-0 record into Wednesday's games, lost 10-3 to Ficek and 10-5 to Trendal Hubley-Bolivar of Nova Scotia to drop to 3-2, tied with Saskatchewan and Alberta,

Round robin-games continue through Friday, with Page playoff (first versus second, third versus fourth) games to follow on Saturday. The loser in the battle for first and the third-fourth winner meet in a semifinal Sunday at 7 a.m. PDT. The final is set for Sunday at 11:30 a.m.
