Kozlowski swings into B.C. juvenile top 10

Natasha Kozlowski of Prince George shot a six-over 79 Wednesday to move into a ninth-place tie at the B.C. juvenile girls golf championship, being held in Kelowna.

The 16-year-old Prince George Golf and Curling Club member, who won the Ladies Simon Fraser Open two weekends ago on her home course, shot 84 in the opening round Tuesday and was at 17-over for the tournament heading into today's final round.

Emma Young of Langley (73-76-149) has the lead at three-over par, two strokes ahead of Akari Hayashi of Victoria, who shot a one-under 72 Wednesday to move into second place.

Abby Chow of Coquitlam is third, three strokes off the pace.

Ryan Vest of Vernon (72-69-141) leads the juvenile boys tournament at three-under, one ahead of Jace Minni of Delta and two up on third-place Niklas Jaakkola of North Vancouver.
