The Prince George Youth Volleyball Club 16-and-under boys Kodiaks served to a fifth-place finish at the Fraser Valley Super Series in Langley on the weekend.
The Kodiaks won their first two matches with 2-1 victories against the Surrey Eagles and Kelowna Klutch before falling to Fraser Valley 2-1 in their third match.
Richmond's Air Attack Black edged the Kodiaks in three sets (25-17, 23-25, 16-14) in their fourth match.
Prince George bounced back to defeat the Nanaimo Mariners 2-1 with scores of 18-25, 25-20 and 16-14 in its fifth and final match.
The Kodiaks will attend the provincial club championships May 2-3 in Abbotsford.
