The Prince George Kodiaks found the streets of Edmonton paved with bronze.
It led directly to a third-place finish at the first tournament of the season over the weekend for the under-12 boys travel team.
The Kodiaks put together a 3-1 record, winning the bronze-medal Sunday with a 3-1 win over the Sherwood Park Phoenix.
The Kodiaks roster includes Connor Scott, Tyler Hascarl, Adam Judge, Garrett Ainswoth, Christian Oliveira, Yanni Trujillo, Brody McNiel, TJ Singh Gill, Ryland Horvat, Rhiley Milkovich, Malcolm Lambert and goalie Garrett Shervey.
John Milkovich and Quim Oliveria are the Kodiaks coaches.
