KNIGHTS OF THE DIAMOND TABLE -- IDL Projects midget Knights catcher Lyndon Toews slides successfully into third base during the Knights' tournament-opening 10-3 win over Kelowna at the provincial double-A midget baseball championship in Kelowna. The Knights went on to defeat the defending-champion Ridge Meadows Royals 6-2 Friday morning. Knights pitcher Brandon Graham allowed just two hits in four innings and won the game MVP award. In the late game Friday, the Knights defeated Vancouver 7-6. The Knights recovered from a 4-0 second-inning deficit and Aaron Antonenko drove in Garrett Belanger with the winning run on a base hit with one out in the bottom of the seventh inning. Reg Barry pitched four strong innings of relief.
