The Prince George IDL Midget Knights were edged 4-3 by Altona on Saturday morning at the 2012 Western Canada Midget double-A championship in Morden, Man.
With the loss the Knights fell to 0-2 and will need victories in their final two games and some help from their opponents to force a tiebreaker Sunday.
In their opening game Friday the Knights lost 9-5 to the Swift Current Indians (3-0).
Tonight the Prince George team plays the Acme Red Sox of Alberta (0-2) at 4 p.m. PST and then wrap up the round-robin portion of play Sunday against the Morden Wild.
