Patti Knezevic gets another chance at defeating Kelly Scott at the BC Scotties Women's Curling championship.

The Prince George Curling Club skip advanced to the final after beating Marla Mallett, the hometown favourite at the Cloverdale Curling Club, 8-7 in Saturday night's semifinal. Knezevic forced Mallett to a single in the ninth end and had the hammer coming home with the game tied at 7-7.

Knezevic lost to the Scott's Kelowna team - the defending BC champions - twice during the week, once in the round robin and then again in Friday's 1-2 match. In the Page-playoff game Knezevic rebounded from a 7-4 deficit with a deuce in the ninth end and then stole the tying point in the 10th to force the extra end before losing 8-7.

Other members of the Prince George team include Kirsten Fewster, Rhonda Camozzi and Jen Rusnell.

Knezevic, Scott and Mallett all finished the round robin with identical 7-2 records.

The winner of Sunday's final advances to the 2013 Scotties Women's Tournament of Hearts in Kingston, Ont. from Feb. 16-24.

The women's final will be broadcast live on Shaw TV (Cable 10) at 2 p.m.
