Patti Knezevic and Team B.C. is 0-3 so far at the national Scotties Tournament of Hearts in Moose Jaw.
Knezevic and her rink from the Prince George Golf and Curling Club is comprised of third Kristen Fewster, second Jen Rusnell and lead Rhonda Camozzi.
They suffered their third-straight loss, an 11-2 thumping, at the hands of Jennifer Jones and Team Manitoba Sunday afternoon.
Knezevic scored a single in the first end with the hammer, but Jones responded with a deuce in the second end and stole a single in the third end, followed by steals of three in the fourth and fifth ends. After another steal of one by Manitoba in the sixth end, Knezevic picked up a single point in the seventh end. Jones added another single in the eighth before handshakes ended the game in the ninth end.
Sunday morning, Quebec defeated B.C. 8-1.
After blanking the first end, Lauren Mann and her Quebec rink picked up one with hammer in the second end, and stole a single in the third end.
Knezevic replied with one in the fourth to narrow the lead to 2-1. Quebec was forced to one with hammer in the fifth end, but stole a deuce in the sixth, single in the seventh and another duece in the eighth end to secure the win.
Knezevic opened the Scotties with an 8-2 loss to Stephanie Lawton and her host team from Saskatchewan.
B.C. battles PEI this morning at 7 a.m. (PST) followed by Rachel Homan's Team Canada rink at noon.
Alberta leads the Scotties with a 3-0 record.
